Toshiba 46WX800 46-Inch 1080p 240 Hz Cinema Series 3D LED TV Review

The WX800 Cinema Series 3DTV combines elegant design, 3D-ready LED picture quality, and a wide array of available Internet content to create a new dimension in quality and style. Get full 1080p high-definition video, built-in wi-fi and networking abilities, wide media support, and plenty more with this 46-inch 3DTV from Toshiba.

Just upgraded from Hitachi Plasma 720p 42 inch. When I first got the Hitachi I did not think a picture could ever get better. Was in the market for an upgrade and spent a day looking at all the 50″+ LED TVs. Where the TV is set in the store makes all the difference in the picture quality and they have the mode set to brightest, sharpest, etc…, which you would not have in your home. Spent the evening researching LED TV technology and came to the conclusion that they all will be similar in the similar price range. Toshiba had the deal for 2 pair of 3D glasses and BD 3D player with purchase of TV which knocked out the Sony and the Samsung I was considering. 3D glases are specific for each model and will run you about 0 and 3D BD will run you about 0…so that was a 0 saving right there.

Hook up was a piece of cake to Sat box and then watched PBS Evening news. If the program is not in HD, the the large picture makes the video TOO big and somewhat blurry, so you have to scale the picture back (easy to do with button control on the remote). Started up a recorded HD movie on my DVR, Star Trek First Contact…and wow, the detail, colors the black level were amazing and as good as any of the Sony and samsung similar TVs I saw in the show room. The Toshiba was a new model and relegated to the show room wall with about 30 other TVs and did not show as well. I can now tell you that it is GREAT.

Do not expect great sound from any LED TV since the speakers have to be small. But the sound is adequate for watching news and normal shows, but somewhat tinny. Probably can adjust with the menu equalizer, but its a don’t care for normal TV viewing. Put in USB stick with pictures and it recognized it immediately and opened up to view photos…fantastic resoultion and photo reproduction with 8Mp camera…and fast.

Samsung 40C7000 3D HDTV – A Non-Technical Review

Early in 2010 Samsung was the first major manufacturer to launch a commercial 3D HDTV. There’s been so much hype about 3D recently that an enormous amount depends on the impression this set makes; if people don’t take to 3D at once, the feature may never take off. Very cleverly Samsung has come up with a TV so stunning that 3D is only one of its many features.

One way the Samsung 40C7000 overcomes the current lack of availability of 3D material is that it features a 2D to 3D conversion function which will add depth to any flat image. Of course, it doesn’t work as well as with genuine 3D-mastered material; the only way to get the full effect is from a 3D Blu-Ray player.

The other source for 3D material will be broadcast, and the broadcasters making the biggest noise about 3D at the moment are ESPN, Discovery and Sky.

The set also has a feature called Internet@TV which lets you get connected to the web right on your HDTV, with downloadable and customizable widgets. These widgets give you access to Blockbuster, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Amazon Video On Demand and Skype. With Skype you can enjoy free picture-in-picture video calls right from your couch.

The set also includes a tuner and has a port that enables you to connect a thumb drive or digital camera quickly and easily. The user-friendly interface allows access to videos, music playlists and pictures via the remote.

Game lovers will find a “Game Mode” that enhances dark areas, sharpens the picture, speeds up the image processing response and enhances the sounds of games.

For those that are energy conscious the set exceeds the Energy Star Standards and is up to 57% more energy efficient than the Energy Star 4.0 minimum standards.

I installed a Hitachi 42 “720p plasma. If I do not believe the Hitachi, that the image could be better. He was the modernization of the market and spent the day looking for all 50-inch LED TV. When the television business, that the different image quality and an important indicator for monitoring, etc. .., that was not being made at home. I spent hours searching LED technology, TV, and found that each of them similar to the same price. Toshiba and the 2 pairs of 3D glasses and a BD player with 3D TV contract, the Sony and Samsung that it was considering removed. 3D glasses for each model is a comic book and 3D is run, what are savings.

Connect is a piece of cake for a satellite receiver, and then watched the evening news and PBS. . If the program is not HD, the picture of one of the main reasons for a good movie and a bit fuzzy, you must change the image again (easy to do remote control) have started recording in HD on my DVR, Star Trek: First Contact, and wow ..the details, colors were black and large as good as the TV, such as Sony and Samsung saw the show room. Toshiba has a new model and the wall fell, the performing arts hall for more than 30 television and other shows, is doing well. Now I can say that it is great.

Do not expect great sound from any LCD TV speakers are small. But the sound enough to watch the news and look normal, but a piece of metal. It could probably the equalizer in the menu, but no effect on normal TV. Insert the memory card pictures and immediately recognized and open to see the pictures ..resoultion of the sun and in 8-megapixel camera and fast …

Samsung PS50C7000 3D TV Review

Samsung PS50C7000 3D TV Review

Welcome to the world of 3D TV.  After the success of films such as Avatar and Alice in Wonderland (although I preferred the less popular Up 3D), most people have experienced 3D in the cinema but now the Samsung PS50C7000 makes it affordable in the comfort of your own home.

The PS50C7000 is a 50 inch plasma screen with full HD 1080p and a 600Hz refresh rate.  This means that the picture is twice the quality of regular HD and this is further enhanced by Samsungs Real Black Filter which creates the ultimate picture contrast.

Samsung have also included Freeview HD (this will become available in most areas in 2011) and Internet@TV which allows you to view your favourite sites such as Twitter, iPlayer and YouTube on your TV.  Connect to the internet with an ethernet cable or using a Samsung wireless dongle.  You can also connect this TV to your PC, camcorder or camera to show your videos and photos.

These stunning features are available without even talking about the 3D system. This 3D TV comes into it’s own when you hook it up to a 3D source such as a 3D blu-ray player or Sky 3D.

The new technology works with LED 3D glasses which synchronise with the TV and block out each eye alternatively at a ridiculously quick rate fooling your brain into seeing in 3D.  This system allows a wide viewing angle so you don’t need to be sat directly in front of the 3D TV for it work.  Glasses are fully adjustable and available in different sizes and colours for kids.

You can currently purchase the Samsung PS50C7000 for about £1,150 which makes it a great choice for your first 3D television.  With so many films being released now in 3D and services like Sky Sports showing football in 3D already, there’s plenty of options to watch.

However this TV has so many features without the 3D that it makes a great choice if you’re looking to upgrade now and you can utilise the 3D aspects at a later date if required.

What Is 3D Tv? A Simple 3D Tv Review

What Is 3D Tv? A Simple 3D Tv Review

Copyright (c) 2010 Kanoknij Wattananukul

If you’re the type who likes to keep updated with the latest technology, then you’ve probably already heard of the 3D TV. Many people anticipate it to be the next big thing as it promises to change everything we’ve come to love about TV viewing. If you were amazed with what the HD TV has done to improve your viewing pleasure, then prepare to be blown away with the 3D TV once the once the electronic bigwigs start to release their first units within this year. Still feeling a bit apprehensive about this new technology? Then let this simple 3D TV review sort it out for you.

But first things first, what is a 3D TV? If you have already experienced watching a 3D movie on the screen, then you probably have a slight idea on what this technology is all about. The primary thing that sets this television apart from its much popular contemporaries is that it makes use of technological techniques that enables you to see images through a 3 dimensional perspective. This means that you will no longer have to be content with just 2 dimensional TV viewing, because once you put on those 3D glasses, you’ll be able to watch your favourite TV show in a crisper and realistic form.

If you enjoy the thrill and excitement of watching 3D movies, then you’ll be happy to know that you’ll be able to watch all your favourite shows in 3D within the comforts of your own living room. Just think of all the savings and convenience you’ll get to enjoy just by buying yourself a 3D TV. You won’t have to fall in line ever again just to watch a movie in 3D. You’re sure to become the envy of your family and friends once they find out that you have the newest entertainment technology.

And since almost all electronic big sharks are set to introduce their own 3D TV, if they haven’t already, into the market any time time soon, it’s the consumers who will defiantly benefit from this the most. This means, you’ll be able to have a wide array of different models, sizes and features to choose from. So whether you’re thinking of putting a giant screen in your living room, or you want your kids to have their own 3D TVs in their rooms, you will be able to buy a 3D TV within the budget you set. Just make sure to consult a reliable 3D TV review so that you will have an idea on what brand would be perfect for you.

Although 3D technology promises to give you a more vibrant and realistic viewing experience, there are a few minor setbacks that you need to deal with. For one, in order to enjoy watching 3D shows, you will need to use the 3D glasses that are included in the 3D TV deal. If you have a big family or you want to keep a few glasses in stock, be prepared to buy extra ones. Another setback is that since most shows nowadays aren’t being made for 3D yet, you might only be able to use the 3D mode on limited occasions. But nevertheless, as soon as the technology takes off, you’ll be glad that you were among the first people to get a 3D TV.

So there you have it. If you’re interested to know more about 3D technology and how it can change your TV viewing pleasure, make sure to check out what the different electronic companies have to say about this innovation. Look up 3D TV review on the search engine and get a low down on how other consumers feel about 3D.

“This TV is awesome. You don’t have to be blown away by the 3D feature when the 2D looks this good. It’s so clear with near perfect color that the 2D looks almost 3D. I ran a video test of the calibration of it and it didn’t need any adjustment. This was a first for me. No red push. The only thing I can find fault with is only one pair of 3D glasses comes with it. Also, if you want to hang it on an already purchased wall mount it does not come with the screws that fit the four holes in the back. Other than that, WOW!” By Robert J. Nolan
