The 3D function will be able to turn on and off, no chanals that i know broadcast in 3D anyways and unless you only want to watch spy kids 3 and avatar, it is pretty much useless. I support it very much though and i think it’s really cool.

Fucking cool with games in the future, cant wait!!

Actually,. Disney has one but you have to be like 8 inch from the screen. The attraction is called [Soarin'] at Disney World Resort. I went there with family and it’s much better than 3D at the movie theatre! But yeah no TV’s can accomplish it yet..

    SHARP AND PHILIPS ALWAYS DO.

  21. BUBLOOGABLOO on September 8th, 2010 10:58 am

Well ask Philips. They’ve DONE IT!

They have a great history connected to TV’s. You can also check out their website. I’ve also favourited one of their videos that talk about it.

I’m not sure if they’ll allow these TVs in the United States or Britain etc because of issues like other companies getting out of business due to PHILIPS selling out all their TVs and the rest crying. It’s connected to the law of the country and the rest bla bla bla.

But they still remain the best for displays.

  22. NMBS1 on September 8th, 2010 11:07 am

@BUBLOOGABLOO, nothing beats Panasonic. Get a life.

  23. alphaj9 on September 8th, 2010 11:42 am

@BUBLOOGABLOO I don’t think it is possible to do “real” 3D without the glasses. If it were a possibility Im sure movie theatres would be first to have that technology.

  24. TheHaloChief117 on September 8th, 2010 11:44 am

    @BUBLOOGABLOO
I’ll believe it when I see it.

  25. BUBLOOGABLOO on September 8th, 2010 11:54 am

Philips released theirs this year. For some reason they never said anything about it in Britain or America and I’m not sure where else.

I don’t even know which country they’ve released these TV’s in, but if they’re not publicising it enough then they’re going nowhere.

They use some technology developed by Philips themself and you don’t need glasses to see the 3D effect.

  26. cp120x on September 8th, 2010 12:37 pm

I own a TC-P54V10 which is somehow very close to a V25 3D… Are you gonna make a firmaware and a “wii like” hardware for the glasses to make a V10 upgradable to 3D ?

PANASONIC IS A SCAM OF A COMPANY. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR WARRANTY AND POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS!

  33. jondesbrow on September 8th, 2010 4:23 pm

errr, there’s no way I will sit there wearing them dorky looking glasses. I can think of little worse than sitting in front of a piece of plastic that emits light for hours on end. Listen to music, read books, socialise. TV is mind numbing rubbish! ! ! ! ! ! !

  34. dritzthevampyr on September 8th, 2010 4:35 pm

Sony 3D TVs are the best 3D TVs on the market. Panasonic uses Plasma, which is nothing compared to the LCD/LED combination in the Sony 3D TV. There are also less zones than compared to the Sony 3D TV. You could have 20 people all in the same room watching a Sony 3D TV. Panasonic just made a bootleg version of this technology, same goes for Samsung. That’s why Sony released their 3D TVs after all the advertisements came up from Samsung and Panasonic; Sony’s quality is far superior!

  35. metaknightksa on September 8th, 2010 4:49 pm

i have a 50” panasonic and it sucks series balls. i saw it at the store (not in HD) i bought it, took it home, pluged in my ps3 put in a bluray movie and it looked like SHIT! it was not full 1080p like it says. FUCK U PANASONIC, i wasted $2300 on ur shitty TV. thats why im now buying the SONY BRAVIA 3d. they know wat there doing.

  38. pauleallen2 on September 8th, 2010 6:05 pm

@insanity23mike not yet because if you own fios ,and you get a 3d tv you still cant watch 3d because some tv providers like fios will have no 3d channels to watch untill the end of the year. but you can watch 3d if you have those stupid glasses that are overpriced, and a 3d blue ray you can watch movies or play ps3 games.

@Panasonic3D the glasses are CRAP !!! I have TX-P50VT20E and the TV is fantastic, but the 3D glasses that included with the TV is one big SHAME for Panasonic, one of the 3D glasses were broken when I got the TV so I tried to glue them back together but then I saw the same crack at the same spot on the other glasses after only 2 weeks, I tried to contact customer service but there is no way to reach someone willing to help me with this problem.

@pauleallen2 – does 3D mean the end of everyone else who owns a regular HDTV non 3D. I mean I just bought my HDTV in Feb. before i heard about 3D TVs. PS3 games on 3D. WTF. its not fair. Im not a 3Dfan with glasses. I just want my regular tv.but everything will change to 3D now and it will become a non HD but 3D world. is this right..??

  42. pauleallen2 on September 8th, 2010 7:33 pm

@gretaro the battery life is horrible, and you cant watch 3d unless you have commcast or direct tv. you also have to pay 500$ just for the blue ray .

  43. gretaro on September 8th, 2010 8:28 pm

@Panasonic3D I am so dissapointed about your service that I will let the world know how bad your 3d glasses really are, or the product included with my 3dtv were just factory fault. if I want to watch 3d tv now I need to buy new 2 glasses for $300 even though I bought the panasonic 3d tv 3 weeks ago.
I will never recommend panasonic ever again
