The Critique on Panasonic’s 3D TV

]]>

The first 3D TV that Panasonic was able to produce was immediately submitted for review to one of the world’s best critics in the field of technology. Panasonic wanted to know whether the 3D experience provided by their product was satisfactory or disappointing. However, the review mentioned neither because, according to the critic, the 3D experience was absolutely amazing.

The brightness of the screen helped in making the images clearer as well as greatly helped in the three-dimensional projection of the images, like as if they are realistic. In fact, the critic has stated that it felt much more satisfying with the Panasonic 3D TV as compared to watching the movie in a 3D cinema.

The critique submitted helped in increasing the sales of Panasonic by an incredibly huge margin. And, to date, Panasonic remains at the top of the pyramid when it comes to the provision of high quality HD TVs, including 3D versions.

Although Panasonic is regarded as such, they still do not want to stop developing. This is why they chose to work with RealD, which is also known all over the world as the top makers as well as developers of 3D technology. With Panasonic and RealD working together, the public is assured that they will be provided with a worthy 3D experience that they probably will not get enough of.

They work so well with each other because they function like as if they were purposely designed for each other. An example of this is the way how the 3D plasma display panel of Panasonic synchronizes perfectly well with RealD’s 3D eyewear. In fact, even the CEO or the Chief Executive Officer of RealD himself is highly impressed with the new Panasonic 3D TV as it redefines 3D technology.

Panasonic’s target date of the international release of their new 3D TVs is sometime in March of year 2010. They also promise that no matter how high the quality of their products is, they will always be reasonable and relatively fair when it comes to imposing prices on their products. Of course, they are looking forward to catering to the fun and entertainment needs of those who are not that much financially fortunate as well.

Panasonic has certainly proven to be the leader in when it comes to the provision and manufacture of 3D TVs. Aside from the fact that they come up with the best technological products, the public can also see and notice their concern and efforts when it comes to being able to satisfy all of the people.

So you want a new 3D High Definition TV (3D HDTV) but just can’t find the necessary 00 to buy one. All is not lost because you might just be able to get one by doing things you do everyday such as watching movies. How?

Well companies often use gifts as an incentive for getting new customers. There are companies out there that then pool a range of lifestyle products together from various companies and then use these incentives to offer a bigger incentive for new customers. In this way movie rental companies could pay to get new customers such as yourself and this new customer fee could go to buying you a new 3D HDTV. Well you might be asking yourself where is the catch?

Well, there isn’t one. As long as you sign up to companies that offer you lifestyle products that you would use every day, such as watching movies, drinking coffee, buying online music, dieting and buying education programs for your children. If you choose products that you would have bought in any case you could be getting something back for your loyalty towards the companies.

It is a win-win for all the parties involved. The companies offering the products get new customers and you can get a new TV for free by using products that you would have used in any case. Normally the free products offered are pretty new on the market and are given away until the next new product comes along, so if you jump on the bandwagon now you could get a free 3D HDTV.

3D TV Is Not Just For Movies

3D TV has generated a lot of buzz lately with all of the recent blockbuster movies coming to DVD. Movie buffs who want to recreate the 3D theatre effect have rushed out to buy one of the first generations of 3-dimentional televisions. Are these TV’s only good for movie aficionados? What is in it for the casual TV viewer? Well, a lot actually.

Watching TV on the couch with the family is about to go to the next level as well. 3D TV is not just for the movies any more. Everything “kicked off” this past summer with the FIFA World Cup Football Championship 2010. This was the first major sports program to be broadcast in 3D.

So what can we expect from channels broadcast in 3D?

One of the popular satellite providers, DIRECTV, already has three dedicated 3D channels in the USA. They include DIRECTV cinema, n3D and ESPN 3D. Also they are currently working with AEG/AEG Digital Media, CBS, Fox Sports/FSN, Golden Boy Promotions, HDNet, MTV, NBC Universal and Turner Broadcasting System to develop additional 3D programming that should debut in 2011. The n3D programming platform will offer a 3D channel focused on sports, music, nature, arts and more. DIRECTV cinema will specialize in Hollywood blockbusters and documentaries.

ESPN 3D is another channel that will be offering sports programs in 3D. They started with the broadcast of the world cup last summer and they plan to feature at least 85 live sporting events during its first year. Some of the other upcoming broadcasts in 3D will be the 2011 BCS National Championship Game, college basketball and football and the Summer X Games.

The Discovery channel plans to launch their own 3D channel. Partnering with Sony and IMAX, Discovery Communications is another 3D TV channel competitor expected to launch in 2011. Although it will not be offered 24/7, the programming will feature content from genres that are most appealing in 3D, including natural history, space, exploration, adventure, engineering, science and technology, motion pictures and children’s programming from Discovery, Sony Pictures Entertainment, IMAX and other third-party providers.

For those who do not live in the US and want their TV in 3D, there are some options for you as well. Canal 3D will be the first 3D TV channel in France. The new 3D channel will broadcast movies, live events, sports and animation. Spain will have 3D Pictures which will broadcast content such as sports, movies, concerts, entertainment, documentaries, animation, plays, circus, current affairs and high profile live events. Sky Channel 3D is the first 3D TV in the United Kingdom. The original test was a broadcast between Arsenal and Manchester United in a few different pubs in London, Manchester, Cardiff and Edinburgh. The test was such a success that they plan to offer movies, sport, documentaries and entertainment programs.

No matter what your interests, 3D TV will soon have something for everyone. Movies, sports and documentaries will all be coming to a 3D TV near you.

Why Choose Panasonic 3D TV

One could really say that Panasonic is a name that you can trust when it comes to high quality 3D TVs. This is because a lot of positive reviews have been written about the Panasonic 3D TV. According to the many write ups, the picture quality projected by this TV is far better than those projected by other 3D movies released in the previous years.

Outstanding 3D Images

A lot were able to notice that the 3D images are really excellent. They report that the brightness and the sharpness of the images are just exceptional. They are so exceptional that many went to as far as saying that the quality of the images is better than that of the images shown in movie houses. Hence, it could be derived that the Panasonic 3D TV is the one that could really provide the best 3D experience in the world.

This is such good news for Panasonic. They have only recently released their latest technological innovation, which is their own rendition of a three-dimensional television set, and they have been getting nothing but all positive reviews.

Panasonic with RealD Technology

Even though the company is regarded for a very long time as one of the top producers of high quality high definition digital and electronic products, Panasonic is still far from stopping to improve the quality of their 3D TV. In fact they are now working hand in hand with RealD. RealD by the way is one of the leaders of today when it comes to the use of 3D technology in home, cinema and other applications.

Because of this combination, people can now enjoy a full high definition 3D viewing experience right in the comforts of their own home. RealD’s active shutter glass technology works well with Panasonic’s products, especially the full HD 3D Viera television set. The proprietary 3D plasma display panel technologies of Panasonic 3D TV function so greatly with the new three-dimensional eyewear made by RealD. Really, the combination of the two geniuses really benefits the 3D loving people really well, as much as the two companies benefit each other. The Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer or the CEO of RealD for example strongly believes that Panasonic is just very great. According to him, it is really capable of taking their audience to a new era that involves highly exciting 3D entertainment right in the comfort of their own homes.

To end this, we have one thing to share about Panasonic that will really make you love it. Although they are releasing Pnasonic 3D TV that has the highest quality, they promise that they will still be very fair in their pricing of their products. So, we could be sure that we will get our money’s worth when we buy our 3D Televisions from Panasonic!

More Consumers are Amazed at the Retail 3D Experience than the Theater Experience, According to The NPD Group

Port Washington, New York (Vocus) October 26, 2010

There’s more of a “wow” factor for 3D at retail, according to the first installment of the 3D 360° Monitor, a new report from leading market research company, The NPD Group. According to the report, 20 percent of consumers reported being “amazed” by the 3D demos in stores, versus only 15 percent who felt that way about their experience in the theater.

“Since high-quality digital 3D has been available in the theaters for a few years now, consumers have come to expect impressive effects that are worth the price of admission,” said Ross Rubin, executive director of industry analysis for The NPD Group, “However, 3D TVs are relatively new and those viewing a demo don’t have to pay for the privilege, resulting in lower expectations that the sets are often exceeding.”

Theaters are providing most consumers with their first modern 3D experience. Twenty-six percent of consumers stated they experienced 3D entertainment in theaters in the past 12 months followed by retail outlets with 4 percent. Those interested in 3D, however, are being driven by the cinematic experience, with the vast majority of consumers intending to purchase a 3D television seeking larger screens and multiple pairs of 3D glasses.

Demand

The fundamental gap that 3D faces is the one between the appeal of the experience and the acquisition of products to create it. For example, 42 percent of consumers surveyed were at least somewhat interested in watching 3D movies at home, but only 11 percent intend to purchase a 3D television. More than half of those intending to purchase a 3D product say that 3D enhances the viewing experience, and 42 percent agree with the statement that 3D is the future.

Objections from consumers not currently interested in purchasing a 3D television include cost and the need to wear glasses, but there are also concerns about the relatively short amount of time the technology has been available in the consumer market, and whether or not the technical issues have been addressed.

“As we have seen with other technologies that have transitioned from the theater to the home theater, lower prices and more content will help drive adoption of 3D,” said Rubin. “There is clearly an opportunity to build an ecosystem of products that enable this dynamic way to experience content.”

To learn more about consumer experiences at the theater and at retail read Ross Rubin’s blog post on The NPD Group Blog.

Methodology

Yes I do agree. We haven’t even finished transitioning from analog to digital, or from standard-definition to high-definition, and they’re already pushing for a new standard, one that will provide a negligible improvement in picture quality. Especially considering the equipment needed for it. Video equipment isn’t cheap, and on the professional market certainly isn’t something that can be replaced often and right away.

What do you think? Answer below!

For the First Time Ever – In-home Digital 3D Porn is Now a Reality

January 28, 2011

Los Angeles (PRWEB) April 11, 2010

Attendees who marveled at the company¼s digital 3D demonstration of pornstar Breanne Benson at January¼s AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas, can now purchase the Bad Girls in 3D entertainment bundle and begin downloading digital adult 3D content from the company¼s website at badgirlsin3d.com.

“We were overwhelmed by the enthusiastic response we received from the adult industry, the media and consumers at January¼s AVN show,” said Lance Johnson of Bad Girls in 3D. “Since AVN, we¼ve been filming a lot of 3D content with some of the industry¼s most well known pornstars, including: Alexis Texas, Eva Angelina, Krissy Lynn, Mia Melani, McKenzee Miles, Mulani Rivera and January 2010 Hustler centerfold MacKenzee Pierce. Everyone that sees our films is blown away. The 3D simply looks amazing!”

Customers can now log onto badgirlsin3d.com and purchase a complete inhome 3D system and choose a membership plan. The system is sold with a 60” Mitsubishi 3D-ready DLP HDTV for ,999. Customers can also purchase the whole system without the TV for ,800. The company provides a free video tutorial that shows customers how to hook up the 3D equipment when it arrives.

When customers subscribe to the site for a year, the subscription amounts to less than per month.

“The in-home adult 3D experience is truly astonishing,” said Johnson. “This is not your grandparents¼ »headache inducing¼ anaglyph 3D with red and blue paper glasses. Our system uses active shutter glass from XpanD, the same system that has been embraced by the world¼s leading display manufactures like Panasonic, Sony and Mitsubishi. The hardware system is compatible with current and future 3D formats such as the soon to be available 3D cable networks, satellite channels and 3D Blu-ray Disc players.”

With the success of recent 3D Hollywood movies and upcoming high profile 3D sports broadcasts, the growing demand for adult 3D content is obvious. Experts predict revenue from the sale of 3D TVs to be over billion in 2011. As a frontrunner in the industry, Bad Girls in 3D is positioned to be the world¼s leading producer of adult 3D content. Johnson stated, “We plan to update our site regularly. We have a lot of experience shooting 3D and it certainly helps to be working with some of the industry¼s top adult performers.”

The films tell an ongoing story of suburban adults as they go about their daily lives. “We chose to interconnect the scenes and characters to further encourage the viewers¼ participation. In each Bad Girls in 3D scene, we reveal small details that connect the characters to prior or future episodes,” said Johnson.

In addition to offering its 3D content to consumers via the internet, the company plans to license its 3D films to adult theaters and to video-on-demand providers worldwide.

Recently, Sony confirmed Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs will released on Blu-ray 3D to coincide with the availability of its 3D Blu-ray Disc players this summer. Also, Disney announced that its first 3D Blu-ray Disc release, A Christmas Carol, will be available in the fourth quarter of 2010.

When 3D Blu-ray Disc players become available to consumers, the Bad Girls in 3D content will be some of the very first adult offerings in the new high definition format.

For more information visit badgirlsin3d.com. Bad Girls in 3D will be demonstrating its products at Booth 312 at the adult entertainment expo, Adult Con, during April 9-11, 2010 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The WX800 Cinema Series 3DTV combines elegant design, 3D-ready LED picture quality, and a wide array of available Internet content to create a new dimension in quality and style. Get full 1080p high-definition video, built-in wi-fi and networking abilities, wide media support, and plenty more with this 46-inch 3DTV from Toshiba.

Just upgraded from Hitachi Plasma 720p 42 inch. When I first got the Hitachi I did not think a picture could ever get better. Was in the market for an upgrade and spent a day looking at all the 50″+ LED TVs. Where the TV is set in the store makes all the difference in the picture quality and they have the mode set to brightest, sharpest, etc…, which you would not have in your home. Spent the evening researching LED TV technology and came to the conclusion that they all will be similar in the similar price range. Toshiba had the deal for 2 pair of 3D glasses and BD 3D player with purchase of TV which knocked out the Sony and the Samsung I was considering. 3D glases are specific for each model and will run you about 0 and 3D BD will run you about 0…so that was a 0 saving right there.

Hook up was a piece of cake to Sat box and then watched PBS Evening news. If the program is not in HD, the the large picture makes the video TOO big and somewhat blurry, so you have to scale the picture back (easy to do with button control on the remote). Started up a recorded HD movie on my DVR, Star Trek First Contact…and wow, the detail, colors the black level were amazing and as good as any of the Sony and samsung similar TVs I saw in the show room. The Toshiba was a new model and relegated to the show room wall with about 30 other TVs and did not show as well. I can now tell you that it is GREAT.

Do not expect great sound from any LED TV since the speakers have to be small. But the sound is adequate for watching news and normal shows, but somewhat tinny. Probably can adjust with the menu equalizer, but its a don’t care for normal TV viewing. Put in USB stick with pictures and it recognized it immediately and opened up to view photos…fantastic resoultion and photo reproduction with 8Mp camera…and fast.

Nintendo 3DS consoles

(PRWEB) August 26, 2010

Once in a while a new gadget comes along that blows the competition out of the water. For over two decades videogames have been in 3D geometry, but now for the first time ever videogames are coming out in 3D stereoscopic projection – through a clever 3.5″ LCD screen situated on the upper clam-shell part of the console. Beneath a second LCD screen is touch sensitive akin to the DS series. This new computer called the Nintendo 3DS is able to display 3D effects without needing 3D glasses. In terms of computer power, its CPU may not be more powerful than a Wii.

Besides the mega three-dimensional games (coming soon) it’s able to play, the 3DS also boasts a 3D camera for taking 3D photographs and video recording!

3DS closely resembles the DSi although the consoles’ control system now includes a left analogue joystick – a handy thumb controller adjacent to the familiar D-Pad. The technology uses similar gaming I/O to the Apple iPhone; for the Nintendo 3DS sports sensors: an accelerometer, and a gyroscope to give 3DS games force-feedback effects.

Talking of games, this new console favourably uses tangible game cartridge media which historically means the games can actually be collected, or thereafter bartered with when it’s time to trade in or buy pre-owned. As envisaged Nintendo has produced a cracking line-up of titles coming to 3DS, including remakes of the best selling games everyone will want to keep: Thus far here’s a few remakes coming to 3DS: Animal Crossing, Metal Gear Solid, Mario Kart and Paper Mario: and a few completely new games too: FIFA Soccer 3D, Kid Icarus – Uprising, Nintendogs & Cats 3D and Resident Evil: Revelations, to name just a few titles the gaming world is getting excited about.

Furthermore the 3DS is intelligent being backwards compatible with Nintendo DS & DSi games… best of all this Nintendo is pioneering a new method of peer-to-peer gaming AI.

With so much excitement and interest in 3D gaming, GameStock has launched a new games console website just for the Nintendo 3DS. For more details visit www.nintendo3dsconsole.co.uk to compare 3DS console: prices, games, package deals and read interesting news on all things mega about 3DS. After all this is a new hardware series. The Nintendo DSi XL was a significant step in the DS evolution, now be prepared for the next dimension.

3DS console colours yet to be confirmed have been seen in Black, Blue and Red. UK release dates and pre-order price will be announced in September 2010.
