22Moo International today announced that the Argo Cinema 2 (designed by Welton) distributed internationally by video eyewear division YelloMosquito has been selected by the 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) as an Innovations 2008 Design and Engineering Award honoree in the Portable Media Accessories product category. 22Moo will have the prestigious honor to display and demonstrate this product at the 2008 CES in Las Vegas, from January 7-10, 2008.

The Argo Cinema 2 is believed to be “The world’s first 3D Mobile Private Cinema” that enables users to enjoy 3 dimensional movies from a 3D field-sequential DVD disc.

This package includes the versatile Argo PC/3D video eyewear and a purpose-built portable DVD player with 3D DVD support.

The Argo PC/3D video eyewear which is a new type of compact personal display that uses a unique optical system that provides a powerful image equivalent to viewing a 48″ screen at 6 feet away.

Using progressive scan to further improve on the 0.9 Megapixels (640 x 480 @ 922,000 pixels), this video glasses is designed to work with UMPC’s, PC / Mac based desktops or laptops and also iPod’s with video**, the iPhone**, Microsoft Zune and any other device that supports either VGA or AV composite outputs including game consoles such as the Sony PlayStation, Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo Wii. The Argo PC/3D video eyewear included supports 3D Stereoscopic viewing and gaming on PC’s* as well.

Specially designed detachable eye-shades block the glares from indoor or outdoor lights and create a completely immersive effect so that one feels like he/she is watching a movie in a cinema. The attached ear phones deliver premium surround sound to complete the amazing experience.

The included portable DVD player with Dolby Surround-sound is purpose-built for the Argo PC/3D to ensure optimal resolution and features support for direct playback of 3D Field Sequential DVD’s as well as standard 2D movies.

The Argo Cinema 2 package is lightweight, durable and comfortable, and features a detachable light shield and earphones. This makes it a highly portable package. All adapters and cables needed are included. Just plug it in and go.
